To the Staff at Queen Anne Manor,

My Brother and I want to thank you all for the wonderful care and love you gave to our Dad. Although his stay here was short, the care he received was amazing! Thank you ALL!

To My Extended Family, The Staff of Queen Anne Manor,

It is rare to find the kind of care, concern and love that has been part of my Mother's life since she has been a resident at Queen Anne Manor.

My Mother has been a resident of Queen Anne Manor for more than five years. During that time she has been cared for as a friend. The genuine affection shown by the staff has been a comfort to her and to me.

This attitude towards Mom has been exhibited from the front desk to the housekeepers. The personal care staff and nursing staff have been especially supportive.

I wish to thank all of you for your dedication to the care of others. What you exhibit is a rare gift and I thank you for sharing that.

With Gratitude,

- Son of Resident

To the Administration and Staff at Queen Anne Manor:

My Mother became a resident of Queen Anne Manor June, 2007, moving here from Idaho where she was living independently and also caring for a friend who was legally blind. Giving up her independence was both difficult and a relief for her-a relief that she no longer had to buy the groceries, cook the meals, pay the bills, and take care of all those responsibilities that living independently entails. In the beginning it was, and to some extent still is, difficult for her to lose control of her everyday life.

Over time, she has developed a very close relationship with her caregivers, affectionately thinking of them as family. She also views the administrative staff as part of that extended family. Her needs have increased during her stay at Queen Anne Manor and those needs have been met in a way that exceeded our expectations. She is always treated with dignity and respect by everyone from the friendly and helpful front desk to the competent nursing staff and caregivers, the dining room staff, the housekeepers, and the administration. There is a willingness to listen to her and to try to satisfy any needs and concerns she may have. Consequently, my siblings and I are confident that at Queen Anne Manor she will receive the best care we could find anywhere.

Dear Caregivers,

Thank you for all the loving personal care you gave to my Aunt, and to all the others who live there. You are a real blessing to our family and to her and those who love her. May your days go well!

Queen Anne Manor Staff & Management

Re: Exemplary Care & Living Experience Continuously Provided for my Dad

My sister and I cannot thank your staff enough for the wonderful care they provide for our Father, day in and day out.

Care Givers: It continues to amaze me how QAM management has been able to attract & retain such capable, caring, compassionate, truly effective individuals to provide the level of care and nurturing your Care Givers consistently do. I have visited my Father nearly weekly over the past 3 years so have observed the Care Givers not only performing the specific tasks they are assigned but doing this with honest compassion and heartfelt warmth in addition to a great deal of patience. They are always kind & friendly, no matter how hurried they may be. Their jobs are extremely demanding in ways most people would be unaware of unless they had the opportunity to observe and appreciate how they interact with the residents and each other.

Reception, Nursing, Dining Room, Maintenance, Activities, Etc.: Staff in every area seems to be consistently attentive & effective whether it is the Reception desk which is the "face" of QAM, administration of medications, coordination of social & outside activities, kitchen staff or the dining room staff trying their best to take good care of each resident and their individual needs.

Improvements to the Building: Ownership is to be commended for their strong commitment to invest huge amounts of funding to transform a "tired" facility into 1st class, beautiful, home for residents and workplace for staff as well. What a warm, beautiful updated property QAM has become thanks to the new ownership. Not only were the common areas improved but each resident's "home" as well.

Every staff member at QAM can take a great deal of pride in the effective, caring way in which each of you enhances the quality of life each day for every Resident, whether they always let you know or not. There is no other Assisted Living facility where our Dad could receive the outstanding, consistent, level of care he does let alone the genuine warmth he receives from every staff member.

We feel very fortunate, and my Dad does too, that he is in your care and lives in his wonderful Queen Anne Manor home.

Thank you all for each of your contributions, you are appreciated!!

Dear Chef Hal,

Danke Schone! Having been to many places in the world and having eaten much fine food, I believe it appropriate to let you know that principally because of your excellent preparation and presentation, I am now in my old age (dotage?) and settled in at Queen Anne Manor. You are certainly among the best of chefs! Thanks so much! I have always believed that part of part of the pride in excellence-or underlying it-was caring! I am still a great believer in caring!
